Ammunition knowledge and the Fundamentals of Rifle Shooting, covering the components of a rifle cartridge, firing sequence of a cartridge, proper storage, cartridge malfunctions, and fundamentals of rifle shooting.

Firing the First Shots, shooting from a bench resting position, standing kneeling and sitting positions without the use of supports.

Scoring a target, selecting and maintaining a rifle, maintenance and care.

Course review, examination, and course critique.
